Began in May 2001 as a result of the family’s pursuit for high quality food directly from the farmer/producer. They have assembled an array of foods from various providers which include organic, grass fed beef, pork, pastured chickens, pastured eggs, raw milk, cream, and other raw dairy products. Raw honey and bee pollen is also available as well as organic produce in the summer months, all from local, independent, organic farmers. They provide these foods fresh on a weekly basis (Weds pickup) from their southwest suburban home, and currently serve over 120 families from all areas of the Chicago metro. They continue to welcome new families to their cooperative and are happy to answer any questions you may have. They continue to search for the highest quality products at the most reasonable prices for their members as well as their own use.

"My brothers and I raise pastured beef, dairy cows, chicken and turkeys. We bought the farm from my father, and are striving towards the goal of becoming organically certified. We offer products that are free of antibiotics, growth hormones, pesticides, and herbicides. The beef cattle are Scottish Highlanders, good grazers producing leaner meat. Our pastured poultry are moved every day to fresh grass. The free-ranging hens have pasture with the cattle to produce the nutritious, richly colored, good-tasting eggs health conscious people prefer. Their "egg-mobile" building is pulled along to give them new grazing areas. Baled hay and GMO free feed are given as needed. We have a herd share program for milk. We are about 30 miles southeast of Goshen Indiana. Be sure to call a couple days ahead if you plan on stopping by, as our freezers are up the road a ways."

The WESTON A. PRICE FOUNDATION® is a nonprofit, tax-exempt charity founded in 1999 to disseminate the research of nutrition pioneer Dr. Weston Price. Dr. Price's research demonstrated that humans achieve perfect physical form and perfect health generation after generation only when they consume nutrient-dense whole foods and the vital fat-soluble activators found exclusively in animal fats.
